Senior Rabbi Frank Susler Ph.D
Rabbi Frank was born and raised in Milwaukee in a conservative Jewish home. He graduated from Custer High School and later attended UW Oshkosh before entering the U.S. Air Force where he served for ten years. While stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska, Frank gave his life to Yeshua. He then began attending Abbott Loop Christian Center and graduated from their Bible School in 1978.
After leading a successful home group for 6 years under the covering of Abbott Loop Christian Center, Frank was ordained a pastor in 1981. He was then led to form a team that moved to Milwaukee to plant a new church, Grace Christian Fellowship.
Frank is also the founder of Beth Messiah-Milwaukee which began in 2005. Beth Messiah is a
Messianic Jewish synagogue which recognizes Yeshua as the Messiah, and
acknowledges the importance of Jewish roots and tradition. Rabbi Frank is affiliated with MJAA, IAMCS and Tikkun International.
Since his ordination in 1981, the Lord has enabled Frank to graduate from Trinity College with a B.A., a Master of Science in Counseling from Carolina Christian University, and a Ph.D, from Carolina University of Theology in Counseling Psychology. One of Rabbi Frank's favorite sayings is "When Yeshua ascended on high, He gave "gifts" and not degrees. He firmly believes God's grace is sufficient for ministry, but "schooling" aids in relatability.
Frank has been married over 44 years to his wife Patricia. They have 4 children and more than 6 grandchildren and one great grandson all living in the Milwaukee area.
